While it was nice to see a Sun’lun lad in the shirt, he wasn’t actually effective. He didn’t create many goals, he didn’t score many either, so to get up to £400-500k in his final year isn’t a bad deal at all.

Poor player but not helped by the manager's insistence to play him as a no. 10 when he was clearly inadequate in that position. Good luck to him. Think it could be a blessing now Ross has lost his pet.

I think this move could be the making of him tbh. More time on the ball in the Championship, also being captain affected his game. Hope he does well and shows the clampets up.
