Can't argue with the stats though. Signed in 2013 and he's played 54 games for us. Luke O'Nien played 47 last season.
Unreal stat that like! 9 games a year average!
Wyke and Grigg have the same problems but don't have the pace, determination or resilience.
I'll believe it when I see it in a Sunderland shirt. Watmore was a star for the young England team - Grigg is not rated by Northern Ireland.Watmore has shown to be a good outlet for the team, using his pace to stretch and worry defences. However, he is a pretty poor technical player and not much of a goalscoring threat.
Watmore will never score the goals that Grigg has though. Grigg is a superior striker.

Unbelievable JeffIt's actually much worse than the bare number tbf. 29 of those were from the bench. He's only started 25 games in that time.
I'm interested in this season onwards mate - apologies if you support Wigan. It's a fact mate. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
Hes on a lot more money than the best players in this league, which seems to be the top issue for the owners.
Has one according to the haters.Everytime he gets injured he gets better. He'll have the ballon d'or in a couple of years.
Deserves some luck after all the fitness troubles of past years, his attributes will be a big plus if he stays fit and league one defenders will not want this lad running at them.
