In Whitburn’s defence, is it appropriate to walk around town during the day time in a highly-sexualised outfit? I don’t mean a lass in a tiny dress either.

He’s an easy target for having a ridiculous avatar and not expressing himself all too well, but would you be happy with your bairns seeing blokes in gimpsuits, ballgags and dildo costumes?
As long as their gay, then it's fine, could even go as far as getting your kid to stand next to them for a photo for facebook, shows how anti-homophobic you are. Can even stick a "bollocks to Brexit" sticker on your babies face for full effect.

If it’s about gay pride do it with a bit of class instead of turning the whole thing into something smutty

This ^^

It sets out to shock.

Wouldn't want my kids to see the gimps, ball-gags and dildo costumes and folk behaving badly a without regard to other people's views.

It works both ways.

You've made a start with your avatar - get some posters made for them.

Would be great to just see everyone mixing having a drink not knowing who’s gay or straight surely that’s what it’s about not been as outrageous as possible if you want to do them kind of things in the bedroom get ya balls in lads but I don’t want to see it and neither do my kids

I can’t understand why it all has to revolve around sex what’s that goto do with been gay they are walking around with gonk suits on all the constant sexual innuendos! straight people don’t walk about with dildos dressed in slutty outfits in the town centre.
A tiny percentage of attendees at pride seem to confuse sexuality with fetishes. I'd bank on it being a fraction of 1% of attendees. Ultimately not worth talking about. To tar us all with the same brush is unfair and inaccurate.

Being gay is not just about sex. It's the best bit, but only a small part of daily life.

If obsession with gay sex is an issue, you may like to ask some straight people why they seem utterly obsessed by it and have discriminated because of it for years.

But you do need to have a picture of your bare chest on a message board that’s predominantly male.
I'm sure I recognise it from an app I use.

People only notice the small minority of attendees that dress like that and just assume all gay people are like that. There’s plenty of straight people who engage in the same public behaviour but it’s just conveniently forgotten to suit an agenda.

One of my mates sent me a video of some of pride yesterday and it just looked like people with flags and nothing out of the ordinary. That’s not outrageous enough for people though to complain about though..

Indeed. They see what they want to see.

Last year I was really disappointed with the lack of sexualised outfits. Felt a right tit in all my bondage gear

Mate I was with the bairns in broad daylight and a bloke dressed up as a woman with a massive dildo walked past with another bloke in some kind of pvc gonk outfit with a mask on ball gag and shit on a lead what is the relevance of that with been gay that’s a sex thing it’s nothing to do with been gay. Getting away with murder in my opinion especially when there is kids and family’s about

So why are people walking around with sex toys and slutty outfits what’s that goto do with been gay
its was my day off!!! wtf do you do to relax?

No, you’re misunderstanding me. I’m fine with people commenting on it. But don’t whinge that it’s “not for me”. It’s not meant to be for you.
I completely get where you're coming from, but we live in a society where the need to be more inclusive is pretty much a given.

If gay people felt excluded from something, we wouldn't tolerate a "Don't whinge, it isn't meant for you" attitude. We'd look for ways to make them feel more included.

Think that's accepted if you're gay. Do that as a straight lad and you get a clip round the lug.

The number of men pretending to be moralistic about homosexuality who actually just want to get absolutely f***ing destroyed by a heavily muscled jock with a girthy member is surprisingly high.

 And the other way round, too. The number of Muscle Marys in the closet is bordering amusing.

Most gays are like me and you. Normal people. Some are promiscuous and overly project that. Like people that roid up and smash pints and fist bump
I think the pride march would send a better message with lots of people in suits and ties.

I do think he does a decent job at playing devil's advocate. Not a poster who easily just resorts to playground insults either.
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
