Was immense at Hartlepool away so I was disapointed how his season went.

I thought we really missed him towards the end of last season. Power, Leadbitter, Cattermole were all very samey in midfield while McGeouch did offer something different. He looks for the ball at least and I reckon provides a better balance to midfield.

They do indeed and for me he's the only one who can play in this role.

He's the best comparison, although McGeogh edges him out being a bit quicker and imo, better off the ball. Leadbitter is a pure DM

Big fan of cattermole, but thought mcgeoch was the best player we had in the holding role last season. So good at this level keeping the ball, and picking a pass. Would love to see him a regular. Seems to be a bit injury prone.
