We aren’t going up with these owners.

You aren’t allowed to criticise these owners because they drink in the Colliery and have a social media presence (until it goes bad and he’ll run away from twitter again). These guys are really poor to be honest and the club is being run shockingly in all departments. Despite renewing my enthusiasm has hit rock bottom now for this club and sport

Fuck me, this place man. We should still be up there, last time I checked the window was still open.
The window is still open? Do you think the answer is get more players in? I think it's more about better management. So far Ross has shown he is not a good manager

Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.
I am not certain we will go up with ross ,but we will be around the top six and with some luck we might get promoted..........We should have got promoted last year and ross and the three amigos need to reflect on their mistakes and not repeat them .......... if im being honest things on the transfer front do not inspire me to think we are going to get anywhere near 100 points!

It's not looking good, Ross has not got IT and it seems there's no money to buy. Two relegations and the worst finish in our history and I don't think we have hit the bottom yet. Who scouted these strikers?
I get the impression that Grigg was a panic buy, by Stewart Donald, possibly due to the clamour on here and twitter to get someone in to replace Maja and he has done absolutely nothing thus far to justify his signing. His record (and Wykes) prior to joining us proves that they are not shite, so we are not playing to their strengths. What worries me more is that over the course of the closed season, we appear to have reverted back to being an 'Us and Them' club with regard to the owners and ouselves. I don't blame SD and CM for this completely. They didn't help themselves by SD in particular, going overboard on Twitter, trying to sort out everyones requests, personally, but now we appear to be getting no, or conflicting feedback from SD and CM. I am certainly not having a dig as I believe that they are decent people, but I don't feel the excitement and optimism that I felt last Close season.

I'd be surprised if we finish higher than last season with Ross for the whole season - he won't last. As usual the club is reactive not proactive and Ross will end up going too late. Hope I'm wrong and he turns it around of course.

Yes, I don’t think there’s much to be optimistic about. The problem is that signing a striker is ine thing, chances were sparse last season and don’t look as if they will be better this coming season. As you say two striker with proven records at this level should not go bad overnight. I raised my eyes when I heard we had brought in a Scottish second division manager, but It now looks like it was a bad move. Without money it looks pretty hopeless. I fear for the future of the club if they flop again.

Its a friendly ffs full of the bairns man, every pre season kids on here spit there lolly out ...grow up and be patient if we have the same shite at the end of the window by all means have a reet winge cos i will be! Lets just wait and see boys and girls eh. ;)
I agree.

Perhaps last night will demonstrate that, on the basis of football and not accounting, the ‘one out, one in’ policy won’t work during this transfer window, because there are actual defects that need to be urgently repaired.

A better quality centre-back (Heneghan ?) to go alo

We lost 1-0 in a friendly game.

This is the reaction

Jesus Christ man.
I'm not overyly bothered at losing a friendly, but the fact that neither of our two strikers are being utilised effectively. Are you expecting everything to suddenly take shape for the Oxford game! They were both here for the second part of last season, but Ross still can't put a team together to play to their strengths. I am not in the Ross out camp, but it concerns me!
