Shelves and Darlow in Morpeth Kebab shop fight

I grew up and went to school in Morpeth and can confirm that this fine historic Northumberland market town has neither kebab shops nor peasants, therefore the story cannot be true

I don't know much about Morpeth but if it's remotely like Widdrington, which I used to frequent, then I'd be inclined to agree :).

The widdrington in could and should be one of the best pubs on the north east coastal trail. But sadly, it isn’t.

As a Sunderland supporter living there through the keegan era it wasn’t clever. Until Cantona killed them. Then it was quite good
