Not as many pubs as used to be. But aye.

Did a pub golf once on a Sunday for a mates birthday. Was still pissed at sixth form next day.

Well this particular pub crawl was right after we beat Chelsea 3-0 in 2010.

Was absolutely steaming with 3 other Sunderland fans in the working mans club on the square. Load of pissed off mags while we celebrated every goal loudly on MOTD.

I suppose 18 pubs isn't possible. But a mixture of pubs,bars,clubs and nightclubs was possible back then.

Absolute shit night out now. I no longer live there so probably even more dire since I was last there

The last 'nightclub' shuts at 2. So the sad berks were stood outside pizza pizza for 50 minutes.

It's got a lot worse since then. Not bad for a few pints through the day but it's a horrendous night out compared to 10-15 years back
