Just seen KISS, play the last night of their European tour in Glasgow. It was an exceptional show. 100% entertainment. Don't care who hates them. It's an incredible spectacle and great catchy songs.

Aye two hours (inc encores) is about my whack these days.

A good list that includes many that I have seen. Am not going to list them all, most recent was Skynyrd last month.

See you have ACDC at the Mayfair 78, we probs banged heeds together that night.

Did Def Leppard support Ac/dc that night ?

36. I've heard of them now, but only because of people going on about the Newcastle gig.

Cant believe that you are 36 and never heard of Kiss. In 95/96 when they were doing their reunion tour you would have been 14/15 ....you werent interested in music at that age ? Neither were your mates ?

Better than Newcastle ? Same set list ?

Exactly the same set. Was hoping for maybe an extra song or more pyro with it being the last night but it was pretty much the same. Great show though again. Love Gun and War Machine were my songs of the night. I'll upload some photos over the next day or two and will link them on here. Quite sad thst after 40 years of listening yo them that this was the end of their last tour

Yeah I saw it as a kid and would have heard the song, but wouldn't have registered who it was by.

The version of Kiss who appear in Bill and Ted was when they had took off the make up and without origional members Ace and Peter. They looked like all the other bands at that time eg Bon Jovi, Poison etc.
A couple of years later Ace and Peter rejoined the band ...the make up was back and they were once again iconic and the biggest live act in the world .

Ah good Mick....i couldnt help butnotice that on this tour the set list was almost 50/50 Gene / Paul re lead vocals.ie Paul sings then Gene etc etc. Did u think Pauls voice was shot ? ....that was probably the main reason i didnt go....i didnt want to see him and be disappointed

I honestly cannot remember if DL supported them that time or any other time.

I remember seeing Iron Maiden pre BD supporting either them or Judas Priest at the Mayfair in the late 70's.

Around the same time, Robbie Williams dressed up as Kiss for the “Let Me Entertain You” video, and also namechecks them in another of his songs, so it’s not like you would have to be a rock music fan to be exposed to them either.

That's exactly the reason why I didn't get a ticket, Paul Stanley's vocals are painful to listen to, when you hear how good he was on mtv unplugged it's unbelievable how shot his voice is.

25% music 75% pantomime

Rock for people that lap this stuff up

I think they're better than Hanson. Probably a few other bands they're better than as well.

Now hey! Don't be dissing Hanson, man. At least they're proper musicians that write their own music, and they're still going after all this time despite being out of the limelight.

There's actually a song of theirs from one of their first albums that I listen to fairly regularly still. f***ing awesome song!

this should have been the end in all honesty.

Ooh, nice tits at 1m05s!

Actually, we were saying last night about how his voice sounds much better than we’d expected compared to a lot of older live acts

They are playing the song as it was written, not sure how that makes them poor musicians?
I aggree they're not poor musicians, just look and listen to their unplugged appearance on MTV.

I think it had some help like mate, it's been proven quite a few times already on this tour.
