Set to be announced Wednesday, wonder if the SOL is one of the venues or is Johnson still refusing to play the north east

He retired a few years ago to avoid going completely deaf. Although you could argue that happened years ago when you listen to that band's output

They can't have many (if any) world tours left in them, so hopefully johnson will see this as the last time to play a big venue in his native north east, not that he will probably have any say in it regardless.

In reality, it's going to be something like Manchester and Glasgow as the 'northern' gig, and it's going to be a hundred plus a ticket.

You might be right. Depends on how many UK dates. They will still be a big draw. If its footy grounds, north east have got to be in with a shout. Even Glasgow would have to be a footy ground, Hydro only holds 14k

Is Johnson back? I thought he`d turned into the archtypal geordie and gone on the sick due to his lugholes
Apparently Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd are back. No word on Cliff Williams but rumours are if the others do it then he`ll do it. Failing that Mark Evans is still touring (with Rose Tattoo, so he may do it) Let`s hope the tour happens.

Hope so. Your info must be better than mine, I read somewhere (forget where) that Williams was back in the Studio as well as the rest of them..

In 2016 it was just Manchester & London. Tickets were £70 (or might have been £80 cant remember which)

If its just two dates it could well be just the same two. I was at Manchester it was midweek, I paid somewhere in that region for a ticket.
