Yes @The Rat, you need to relax a bit Botchies right.
Fighting amongst ourselves and people saying 'I told you so' helps nothing, mate. SD certainly seems to have exaggerated a few things. However imo he is the type who gets a little over enthusiastic. I would imagine that he had accountants and lawyers doing the deal for him, so a lot of the stuff was said without information in front of him. I certainly don't think he's tried to hoodwink us in anyway. Also a lot of it is now historically stuff, I know it can of course have a knock effect on what happens in the next month, but that's what's important now. Fail to recruit correctly and the fans will let everyone at the club know how they feel about it.

Can you give me a roundup?

From my understanding is the deal to buy the club was £12m not £37m. £25m of the parachute payment was used to pay SBC. That £25m was loaned to Madrox from SAFC. They more or less used the clubs money to pay Short not their own. They never gave a time frame and never mentioned if they plan to pay back that money. From what I can see they haven't got the money and we are more or less skint. The owners haven't been 100% honest and as transparent as people have been making out. We are debt free but they owe us £25m and legally don't have to pay it back.

I am just pleased RAWA has given us the information, how people respond to that information is up to them, personally i am waiting to see the result of the summer business before i comment further on what was said within the mins, however it would be wrong of me to say i wasn't a little concerned when i am, i would fibbing a bit with that sort of stuff and not what the PF and the SMB at large has seen from me in my time on this forum, i always call it as i see it, but at the moment i am holding fire, to see business going forward. but lets not make the mistake of remembering this, the owners stated for everyone to hear the target is 100 points, they said that themselves so the pressure is on this season, and i hope they are successful because if we fail again, the anger that has resulted in what we have been reading today with be nothing unlike what could be unleashed in the future, you are aware of this as much as i botchie mate

Did they not specifically say a number of times that the parachutes were to secure the payment and the intention wasn't to use the clubs money, rubbishing those that insinuated that very scenario?

Snippets I heard, Honeyman, Oviedo and Watmore available to leave. Will accept anything over 2 million for McLaughlan.

Minute taking and publishing minutes of meeting - the usual and legal process of reporting the process and binding decisions taken at formal meetings is carried out by a duly appointed competent Secretary and conducted under the Standing Orders of the committee or group
These minutes are then transcribed by The Secretary and circulated to all Members of that Committee or formal grouping, nothing is published for the simple reason that the minutes HAVE NOT BEEN FORMALLY APPROVED AS A TRUE RECORD.
The process of formal approval of the previously circulated minutes follows scrutiny by those present, prior to the NEXT formal meeting and is the first item on THAT meeting’s Agenda, the time interval is governed by the frequency of meetings The minutes are deemed to be “a true record of business covered” only after a formal motion to that effect is approved. It is only after this approval has been given that the minutes may be published.
I have chaired hundreds of meetings, all of which are subject to external and internal audit and I am well aware of the process. Depending on the Terms of Reference of the meeting, minutes can be published before the next scheduled meeting providing they have been agreed as a true record by all parties concerned. I am not sure why you responded to my comment though, did you even read it?

I may need to pm you for a bit of advice if you don't mind?

That pretty much echoes my stance, marra.

From my point of view we are skint. The owners owe the club £25m and haven't given a time frame to when it's to be paid back or it it's going to be paid back. They said they paid £37m but in fact the didn't, it was £12m. They haven't been as honest or open as people have said. It also shows that the media weren't 100% accurate but weren't talking a load of bullshit. If think there's nothing to worry about then fair play. But let's be honest, if this was the Mags and Ashley we'd be laugh at how he made fools out of them.

But surely we can only do any of that further along the line, when we see how it pans out and what's paid back into the club or how it is? If that's down in the accounts (which I'm led to believe it is) then it'll need sorting out if someone is coming in with investment. You're constantly getting all hett up, before you really know if there's anything to get hett up about.

You know you're telling us the same thing over and over, yet the first time I heard it on Roker Report it was Donald himself who told us exactly the same thing.

That was the plan it would seem. But I think in reality I think they saw us a fixer upper and then sell us on. It hasn't worked out that way.
