As much as the fall out post match would be the most entertaining thing to happen to tennis in years, I see absolutely no way that Kyrgios will beat Nadal tomorrow. This version of Kyrgios to stay focused enough to win three sets against the greatest competitor of all time? Not for me.

At least Felix is still there and looking decent, even if it is a year or two off him being a serious slam challenger (hadn't won a grand slam match before Monday, yet is the 4th favourite). Shame he'll have to play Novak in R4 if they both get there, although that would be some coming out party and story if he somehow pulled that off.

That's the one I'm looking forward to most. He was pretty poor today though, if he plays like that it'll be easy for Djokovic.

All Nadal has to do today is play his usual game, Kyrigos will lose his head if he is playing well and Nadal just keeps hanging in and getting points from nothing like he so often does. Think the game has had so much hype its going to be a let down as Nadal will win comfortably. The Nadal that lost to Kyrigos a few years ago at Wimbledon isnt the Nadal that is playing today.

Gauff was 5/4 today as I just checked and I had Rybarikova at 4/7 on my accumulator :lol:

Yeah, it's easy to forget just how young you are at 15 and 100 odd days, so a lot can happen, but it does look like she has a good team around her, and she certainly seems to have a very mature head on her shoulders.

It's also good how she's American IMO, because the WTA tour is starting to head more and more towards China with the tour finals over there from this year and having more events there than any country (including USA), this will surely mean interest in the sport remains in the States long after the Williams retire which can only be good from a Western perspective and keeping the true heart beat at a time you can actually watch the sport than in the early hours.
Shes 4th favourite to win the tournament

Bets for today folks?

Won 30 quid yesterday on a few inplay bets, so interested to hear what you lot reckon.

I may also lump a 100 on Novak to win it all at 5/6 as that’s too good to pass up at those odds.

I'm watching Dart, but Evans looks to be pretty comfortable. This has been a bit of an error ridden match, but Dart is not far off a place in the last 32. Hasn't played a player (currently) in the top 100 yet, but still a fantastic achievement assuming she gets over the line.

Classy Jay Clarke dumps mixed doubles partner Harriet Dart by text to team up with Cori Gauff instead.

Bit arsey that like, they did well in the mixed last year as well. Said he wasn't sure he'd get in to the draw if he paired with Dart but surely they'd have been fine.

Yeah so is the Dan Evans match. As per with Basilashvili's matches, 90% of the points are ending in him hitting a winner, smashing the ball into the net or rattling it twenty feet long. Set and a break down so you can probably guess how many of them are ending dumped in the net.

Yeah, they'd have 100% had a WC, no doubt at all, even if they had crashed out relatively early last year never mind making the semi's. I guess he just wanted to raise his profile in probably a once in a lifetime opportunity, whereas he could and might go back to playing with Harriet next year, but the story being painted doesn't sound great and he has had a bit of backlash online. I guess if they win a round it'll sharp be forgotten.

Can't see Dart winning many games at all against Barty next, but when you have reached the last 32 as a WC, earned over £100k and 130 points, it's the very definition of a free hit with absolutely nothing to lose. Barty should finally get on Centre Court as well.

Looks like Cilic is about to ruin my straight sets acca.

It will be good for Evans if Sousa can pull that off. Cilic hasn't had the best of years, but is still dangerous, especially on grass. Chuffed for Dan, but I guess that tie break was pretty synopsis of Basilashvilli's overall performance as MarcoG was alluding to earlier.

It's getting in to that too much to watch at once category again. I was wanting to watch Konta, but then saw that Bertens was a set and break down, but looking a bit better now after 4 games in a row, although she has just been broken back. Clarke looks like he's giving a good account of himself in the second, but I've barely watched any of it. Cilic in massive trouble now, never mind straight sets.

Federer just hasn't looked right in either round against what id call weak players
1st serve percentage is shocking
Unforced errors very high
Be amazed if he makes quarters playing like this
