Takeover in trouble

Please, can we leave it for now? I hate having to say that, but I'm right on the edge of what I'm comfortable with already.
GOM just ignore any more requests for information until the minutes are published, between explaining to the ignorant (me), dispelling myths and correcting misinformation you have done more than could reasonably be expected on all matters financial for this board, thanks for you input

What minutes should i listen to? 2 hours of my life listening to that again for a clue, will destroy my marraige . Think of the kids Grumpy. What minutes?

It was a general comment. Donald uses accounting terminology every loosely - when he says equity, for example, most people think of shares. He think of any form of investment. He speaks without notes, which doesn't help. There are things he's saying there which are pretty misleading - not because he's being deliberately evasive, but because he's not that interested in the detail, so he says what he thinks it is.

And he's wrong again. I was offered information on Friday, and turned it down because I can't pass on unpublished commercially sensitive information without getting into serious trouble. Furthermore, I have no idea who it was who was offering me the information, nor whether it was remotely true. If other people want to pass on unsubstantiated stuff from anonymous third parties, that's up to them. I can't and won't. The more I think about it though, looking at all the negative rumours (Donald being drunk at a Q&A, etc), the more I'm convinced I was being played.
Can you explain how you turn down information? I mean do you stare it down and say “sorry pal, this just isn’t for me”?

Not at all fella.

People understand the intricacies or they don't.

I couldn't plumb a house and have the utmost respect for those who can.

I used to tell my wife that the main reason for climbing the greasy pole was to bring in enough money to be able to pay people to do the stuff I know I'm crap at. Usually when I was getting grief for not being as good at DIY as her Dad.

You get a PM from a total stranger saying he's got stuff that he wants putting out there, and wants you to do it because you're seen as credible (ie people will believe it's true), and all he needs is your e-mail address. You PM him back and say no.

I definitely use different terms when I'm getting my lass to climb the greasy pole.

Can you just clarify, the £9.6m loan to Madrox, has SD explicitly said that none of that money was used to pay his debt to Short? Also can you clarify if he was asked if any of the short term loan taken at the end of the season (April) went towards any part of his personal debt to Short?

I'm not making judgements either way on the last one.

The current regime can afford to run the club this season and no further regardless of the division.

You might well be right. Even if we go up we'll be about £6m or so down on revenue, wages will rise and they'll need to spend a decent amount to get us competitive. I imagine they'll need investment. For this coming season though they're better off in league one than had we gone up, so I can't imagine any players telling anyone we'd be "fucked" if we didn't get promoted

The details of the deal and the short term loan were both covered in the meeting.

Well I’m a good DIY’er being time served and that. But when I paid for the sockets in B&Q from money I borrowed from the wife’s account, they asked me if I had proof of funds if I wanted to buy a consumer unit. I told them I was working on my sons house, and he was recently qualified to carry out emergency medical care, so I could pay for it with the Paramedic Payments. Although this was going to be paid into our joint account and I could transfer if need be.

They're tied by the same thing. The minutes come out when the minutes come out. Until then, no-one says anything,
....so they are representing the best interests of the fans but won't let the fans know information what they know? What is the point?

They were covered in the podcast and we're still unsure because of their answers being haphazard at best open to accusations of being disingenuous at worst. I hope the answer is more coherent and less ambiguous in the details, and I hope those answers are published in a timely manner.

Threaten to bowl up in your orange speedos and tongue punch his fart box, that should sort it.

The fans will know the information, but the information can't be released until all parties have given their OK to the minutes. So the fans will know, but not just yet. They are representing supporters groups. It's clear that different groups have different needs and priorities. However, no group of fans should get the information ahead of any other.

You have a very overactive imagination. Try putting the crack pipe down once in a while.

What are these minutes off or rather when was the Rawa meeting. Realise minutes aren't distributed quickly, but wondering how long now.

The meeting was on 13 June. It's not a RAWA meeting by the way. The official name is the Sunderland Collective Meeting. There are 6 supporters groups involved. The minutes are just waiting (still) for the go-ahead from the club, which is expected shortly.

So they don't represent supporters who aren't in a supporters group?

There are 15 people at the meeting anyway? How many more do you want? The minutes will be published on the RAWA website. @Ghandi Floss will undoubtedly provide a link on here and create a thread to discuss. What more do you think should be done?
..I'm talking about representing the fans, people know information who are at the meetings and are they not supposed to relay back to the fans?
