Great tie break and Jubby back in the match. 1-2.

Out in the first round, so she has two whole weeks to focus on her London selfie game.

There was a report today saying Netflix are doing a movie about that Superbowl fan date from a few years ago. Fair play to her, she's built up a brand and big following after pretty much one good year on the tour.

I'll feel a bit sorry for the Vekic-Riske loser. Both stellar grass court players and putting on a good show here. Will be a shame to see one of them go out so early (hopefully it's Riske, but she has the momentum now).

Donna :(

Just the luck of the draw, especially when you see WC vs LL. Really good match and the first use of the Court 1 roof. Disappointed, but wouldn't begrudge Riske a run here. It'll be very tough from R3, but she's too good a grass court player not to have had a significant run at the biggest grass event.

Day 3 Order of Play

This side of the draw is definitely feeling the pinch at the top end from the likes of Zverev, Tsitsipas and Osaka all crashing out on yesterday. I guess Venus as well, as she'd be a very likely Court 1 / Centre Court option, even if Gauff was a brilliant story and very exciting prospect.

Just catching up on today.

Tomic :oops::lol:

Really really strange. People naturally compare him with Kyrgios, but at least Nick can be entertaining and people do come to watch him, yet Bernard is generally pretty irrelevant. 58 minutes for a 3 set match? I guess at least he didn't just retire and he stayed until the end, but he should still get his prize money taken away, not that he will care. Kyrgios tanked the 4th set (0-6 in 18 mins) because he was broken early and put all his eggs in the 5th set, which he won convincingly, but what's Tomic tanking for?

That's twice in 3 years now he's kind of made headlines at Wimbledon for the wrong reason, yet he reached a grass Quarter Final last week. I don't really get it.

Quite intrigued by Stan vs Opelka today. A bit surprised to see the big Yank is 4/1.

Stan only won 3 points of the first 7 Opelka service games, dropping the first set, but he does have a break point here, which he didn't convert.

Edmund well on his way here, 2 sets and 3-0 up on Verdasco. Fabiano awaits the winner, so a good chance to make the second week for the first time.

Just put a tenner on random in play match and won a score. Betting master

Who was that Londy?

Edmund had 40-0 or 40-15 at 3-1 and Verdasco was 22/1, it's now 3-3 and Verdasco is back at 4/1. Not over yet.

Italian fella playing a Serb or Croat or something, can’t remember his name pal

Won it in 5

Pleased Yastremska went through as she's potentially a big talent. Always nice when you sit through a 3 set match and it goes the way you want (although I do quite like Kenin as well and her intensity). Takes advantage of Osaka crashing out at the first hurdle as she plays the unspectacular Golubic next, so a great chance for her to make the second week of a slam for the first time of her young career.
