Takeover in trouble

Sorry I didn’t particularly mean what I know about the takeover/club etc.

I meant the stuff I’ve been told due to me having such close links to the football world and many many people in it.

It’d make a great book one day
You're sounding like another poster, one you seem to be constantly calling out.

Not really, that’s just the way it is.

I made a lot of friends in the game due to my charity work, and now due to my line of work.

When you spend time with people you exchange stories and banter. That’s life.

Maybe what we were told was actually a lie?

What's the point in the owners doing that? The truth would come out eventually, and the reaction would be far more severe than either saying nothing or admitting there were problems. The worst of all worlds in being caught in a lie. We certainly won't have been told everything; it's not realistic to expect that. But telling the fanbase out and out untruths is about as dumb as it gets.

I am concerned about the number of recent negative stories, but not for the reasons some are. This is starting to look like a concerted effort to create a rift between the owners and the supporters. Why now, and who's pulling the strings? Because at the moment, it seems to be working.

indeed. would the be the stupidest lie in the hsiroty pf ther world..to say you have loads of money raises fans expectations.

Oh and then we look at the facts, not the words. We spent £3m on a player in Jan. breaking the transfer record for this league. Indicates we had plenty of cash then.

So... after the second season ticket payment has just come out, probably getting the club around £750k and new investment seemingly not forthcoming, are we :

a) in good financial order
b) a bit worse off than seemed the case
c) on the bones of our arse
d) can't pay, we'll take it away
or e) none of the above?

Its spin ....hes come off twatter to avoid scrutiny as i think our squad is going to be poorer than last years!

great post.

There are three groups of people who might want to do that.
1) employees who were made redundant and have a grudge.
2) people who didnt get to buy safc because ellis preffered these guys
3) prospective investors who want to turn the fans on SD to force a lower price.

people coming on here spreadin unsubstantiated rumours should delcare which of those camps they belong to.

Have a like, as nicely put.
Grammar apart.

Very much seems the case, ulterior motives at work?

Can’t disagree with that like Grumps, Donald said he would be transparent and offering a ‘fan’ to look at the books can’t be much more clear than that, there’s a rabbit away and I don’t know which one it is

Had me thinking along the lines that an interested party is trying to unsettle things.

I'm off to the politics forum for some rabid common sense.

If that's referring to me attending the meeting it's overegging the pudding. I'm not sure I'd actually want to see the internal accounts; not because I'm scared of what I might find, but the related NDA (which would be almost mandatory) would prevent me saying very much about what I did find.

Pointless new folks investing if they aren't bringing a brighter way of doing things. The major selling point of the first lot was John Park as DoF. Take that away and it seems an odd thing to do.
why? can we not just hire him now, he hasnt got a job?
but why do you assume he would be good at the job of DOF? he hasnt worked in that role a day in his life.
