Colonoscopy

Big danger of tmi here, but had this done this afternoon purely as a precautionary screening, and I can confirm it is a bit freaky watching them snip out a polyp on the screen in front of you

I have to wait a week to see if it's anything they need to follow up on, but it only goes to show that these things are worth doing, however hideous you think it's going to be.

Pics or this didn’t happen.

Best of luck

I enjoyed watching mine on the tele mind. Don't worry about the polyps. Most of the time there's nothing to be worried about but they still have to send them off just in case.

I showed my Dad the pictures on my printout and he was nearly sick

Remember thinking mine hadn’t worked....then wooosh ya fucker

I had moviprep where you have to drink a litre, then wait a bit, then drink the second litre. I drank the first one and nothing at all happened. I was half way through the second litre when I had to run to the loo and it felt like Satan himself was launching out of my rear end.

It was a 2mm sessile one, just a tiddler really so I'm sure it's nowt to worry about.

I wasn't wanting to watch it, but you can't look away as it's quite fascinating. Looked in good nick too after 40 years of serious hammer (beer and curry wise). 65cm was the final score  5 hours later my bowels are still rumbling away

About 20 years ago I had a chest x-ray which had a big dark shadow on the lung. Now that really did scare the shit out of me, and I've never smoked. Turned out to be something harmless in the end, but I had a week to contemplate it.

I ate almost nothing yesterday, and then made sure I went before I used the enema, cos I'm a coward.

Did you have any sedation? Not sure if they give it by default these days, but you should always ask. Not that it’s particularly needed, it’s just good stuff.

Similar with me.
I can't remember what was in the sachet, but I mixed it with water and sat on the toilet for hours awaiting the explosion.
Nothing happened, so I sat and sat some more and did a crossword to pass the time.
Just as I gave up, and was about to pull me hoggas up to go to bed, my whole world and arse exploded.
The Colonoscopy the next morning was a doddle, but when I got home, my arse was rumbling all night long.
Kept thinking I needed the toilet, but of course there was nothing left to dump.

You'll be doing some cracking farts for the rest of the night mind
Most definitely this
