What they deserve is to be bought out by an absolute bastard so they realise that Ashley isnt the bad guy.
A new owner, who brings in Benitez again, who relegates them, while blowing an unsustainable budget on shit signings and ends up putting them into administration would be a lovely twist in this story.

Nobody’s going to take them on mate, who would take that basket case of a club over? Just look at their fans travelling down to Ashley’s house to ‘protest’, nobody in their right mind would buy them as they’re impossible to appease.
 
Decent article by MLF Barry Glen Glendenning. Sums up the reality of the situation for most football fans with few exceptions like the Oystons at Blackpool (I know they have now left).
