They’ll sell in a heartbeat. There is a lack of ‘high end’ housing in the Sunderland and surrounding areas. Terraced houses in West Lawn, Ashbrooke go for £500-£600k

This. 650 grand for a semi is ridiculous. You can get a decent detached on a newish estate for less than 300k.

I really did fancy an apartment. That’s what interested me, because not many developments have apartments but it’s quite extortionate. I knew you’d pay more and accepted that but ...:eek:

That’s because they’re near the city centre. Out in deer hunting territory people will want a bit of space. In new build terraces you can hear next door but one fart.
