If we beat NZ we finish 3rd. If Australia win their last game they finish 1st. So surely it'll be aus v nz and India v England in the semis??

Politically it's very tense but does the average Indian really hate Pakistan that much? The support seemed to get on with each other great at old Trafford.

And what was the chew on between Pakistan and Afghanistan all about? Think I'm missing something on that one.

think theres tension between pak and afghan, border issues, taliban crossing into pak etc

Dunno why some idiots think Dhoni threw the match ffs. He’s been playing like that all tournament. An India win would have gave them a much better chance of finishing top and getting an easier semi final so it would be brainless to throw the match.

On the subject of Root and Williamson .... ie how crap is one and how brilliant is the other .... well the stats say they're pretty much neck and neck, perhaps with Williamson ahead by a nose.

Williamson has a higher average but root scores more quickly. Williamson has 2 fewer innings and one more n.o. boosting his average.

One thing out of the game was the inability of Roy to field. It fell nice today batting first, but if he had been in the field for fifty overs, he may have struggled to bat as he did.

Vince coming in did well to take the two big catches in the game, but if England field first on Wednesday, we won’t have that advantage

Or maybe roy will be fully fit he didn't field today because of a different injury he picked up batting
 
That was a very odd way to chase a game last 6 overs. Something doesn’t seem right there.

We played well and Plunkett picking up wickets during the mid overs....
