There's no chance Ashley will sanction paying compensation to a club for a manager when loads of them are available for free.
A club paying compensation for a manager usually has an agenda for growth or improvement and want to get that man specifically for that.
There's no plan like that with Ashley.
It'll be somebody out of work who will be extremely grateful for the chance of managing in the premier league.

Monk, Hughes, Moyes, Pulis, Sherwood those type of names.

Too obvious.

Martinez the new fave

Let's out it this way; if Short had run us the way that Ashley runs Newcastle, we'd still be in the Premier League.

We’ve been relegated twice under the odious cretin. Ashley gambles every season on doing just enough. What a time to be a supporter. Had Short managed to get Rafa in as manager do you think he’d have binned him off to be replaced by someone like Monk or Sherwood?

Is this a shock to you @Sima ?

@ChronicleNUFC: Press Association report neither Bin Zayed or "any other group" has been granted exclusivity or begun the process of meeting the Premier League’s owners requirements. More:

We'd have in a better place if we'd been relegated, rather than overspending on crap to get 17th every season. And Ashley didn't bin off Rafa - he threw his toys out of the pram and binned himself off because he's incapable of managing without a bookful of blank cheques. Just like you're doing now. Your big problem, and that of far too many fans, is that they haven't realised yet that the Premier League is broken. It's rigged, and 14 clubs are only there to provide cannon fodder for six, who have manipulated FFP to ensure they'll never be caught.

At risk of sounding daft but is the Man City breach of UEFA FFP , which could see them expelled from champions league, different to the premier leagues FFP?
