Any coffins on the street yet?

Mourinho has been quoted saying he isn't interested in a a team aiming for top 10 he needs to aim to win things

Fukin brilliant.
It's from this interview around 2:15 and is generally speaking, not specifically about the Mags as it was recorded before Benitez went.

In an interview recorded before Benitez’s departure was announced, Mourinho told The Coaches’ Voice: “The only thing that I know is what I don’t want: I am quite pathological in the sense of I have to play to win. Then, if I don’t win, then that’s my problem and the players and the club and the structure but I need a project where the feeling is I play to win.

“If somebody gives me a wonderful 10-year contract and the objective of the team is to stay in the first half of the table and if you finish seventh, eighth or ninth, it’s perfect, then that’s not for me. That’s my nature.

“My next (goal) is to fight to win”.

I think only Newcastle fans actually believed it could happen which doesnt surprise me, but from what he has said the skunks are not the club for him.

But when they get Monk instead, it will be Ashley’s fault for not showing “ambition” and getting Jose.
