An appointment like GVB would send the scum down imo, would be reminiscent of De Boer at Palace but they’d get rid too late like Maclaren. I think it’ll be Tony Pulis. He will walk the Ashley tightrope, be a yes man and have no ambition other than finishing 17th.

That isn't what Ashley wants though. He wants youth signed so they can sell for profit and continue for the club to self fund. However that doesn't suit the mag agenda. Van Bronckhorst could be an excellent move for them.
