The Awabs have registered a new company at Companies House today so the takeover IS happening after all:eek:.
Will be very interesting to see what happens in next few weeks

what makes you think it's coming to an end? I know there is rumours and a couple if stories in The Sun but where is there any evidence whatsoever in this?
It's happening, get owa it.
No guarantee of success.
Far more concerned about us as the skunks are a million miles away from us at present.

Didn't Amanda Stavely do the same? Time will tell I suppose

Did she?
It's a step forward tho isn't it from where they were.
They need to make the right appointments tho to even think about getting their money back.
Benitez will hang on even after June 30th as the thought of spending big money will appeal.

You can stick a couple of noughts on that if you get the likes of Pinsent Mason or Clifford Chance to do it for you ;)

Saw something on twitter saying similar. Anybody can set one up but you can't fake the directors or registered address etc. Expensive hoax if its not in the offing

£250/£12 im guessing the cost is irrelevent in this case?
if the implication is that it could be some kind of jolly jape to build up the hopes and then dash them again for us black and whites. then what would be the criminal cost for someone using genuine and respected companies names in an elaborate hoax?
apologies GOM, way out of depth here.
my expertise lies in the merits of various craft ales and ciders.
oh and plastering meself from head to toe in meat jus, obviously!

You thinking of creating one like?

Newcastle United Arab Emirates

Fuck them.

There’s more horror stories than success stories. Remember the last one...

We’re miles behind them at the moment to be concerned

Just takes one good season for us and one bad season for them and we’re back on level pegging to be fair. I think they need a new owner just to compete next season as I think Blades and Villa might spend a few quid, although that doesn’t mean it will help like as Fulham found out.

£100m they spent roughly and went straight down. Everton spent a fortune anarl they couldn't get anywhere near the top 6, even with Man Utd been so shit

Be looking at 200m to break into top 6 minimum and that’s still not guaranteed as others are constantly strengthening.

Won’t happen overnight either even that would take a few seasons IMO and to sign the players the Chronicle (I know) were on about that would require instant success or a bottomless pit of money for transfers and most importantly wages.

If that goes tit up don’t make it FFP start looking around could be a case of be careful what you wish for if new owner decides not going to happen and pulls plug.
