Hotel (in Sunderland naturally) and train tkts just booked.
Another ground ticked off my list.
Will this be a "bubble" match?
The buzz for the new season starts here FTM
1st team I would guess.Where are Sunderland reserves playing next season? Is it a sunderland XI or 1st team..
Fair play
Good bars in the ground but if its segregation Sunderland will get a burger van with a mini fridge selling Dark fruits..On the plus side away fans get the best bogs...only a brewers fayre anywhere near the ground so drink in the town centre and its 5 mins on the metroNever been to South Shields, so looking forward to it. Always do 2/3 pre-season friendlies.
Any recommendations for pubs pre-match/cracking fish 'n' chip shops etc?
Curry is standard fayre in Sheels, marra. Ocean (Asian) road is where it's happening.Never been to South Shields, so looking forward to it. Always do 2/3 pre-season friendlies.

Fish and chips don’t go to Colman’s, there a better chippys around than that over priced place, pop to the sima for a few pints then walk down to the ground for a few moreNever been to South Shields, so looking forward to it. Always do 2/3 pre-season friendlies.

According to an ahem Sunderland/Feyenoord fan
Drink in the town centre, plenty cheap bars thru the day then jump on metro. If you want food then a curry on ocean Road is best betNever been to South Shields, so looking forward to it. Always do 2/3 pre-season friendlies.

They’ll not be able to play the ‘oh no, our floodlights don’t work’ trick with it being a summer match.
Look forward to handing them their arses.
Can not go wrong with a curry on ocean road mind, few beers in the local bars around there aswell and you’ve a decent night out ahead of you, finish off with a bit night clubbing of this is a weekend fixture as I have not even been bothered to look yetLooks a cracking little pub if the pics on Google are anything to go by.....this looks like the one for my pre-match pint.
Do I get a lift back to Sunderland after the game?
Looks like the street for food....should be able to find somewhere for my "bait" there
