It’s been absolutely awful to watch. And people are understandably not that enthusiastic about watching League One football when your team is playing crap.

We were shit. They were better. We created no chances.

We were quieter than them. And Dinnar why he brought it up but we did sell less. That’s all true and there’s definitely counter arguments to be made but there all facts.

I think the fans have suffered a lot but actually that doesn’t entitle us to anything. People seem to think that we’re ‘due’ something because of our loyalty but that isn’t how it works. Ultimately it’s a club we’re all part of so we all have to work our what’s went wrong.

Anyway like I said, nothing can be done now. I’m over criticising the players. Had the convo too many times in work today :lol:. Time to plan and bring the right people in.

I can understand the standard is shite ,that doesn’t worry me .What my issue is ,Is that we have struggled against what seems like most of the league and we also don’t seem to have any identity /pattern to our play which is worrying .

So like a Moyes team .
 
Charlie has stated that we were quiet when we were quiet and the place goes into meltdown.
We had more possession, more shots on and off target and more corners than Charlton, so perhaps not as negative as some are making out, and Charlton fans never stopped getting behind their team..
If we are ever going to get back up the leagues then everyone has to be fighting for the course including supporters.

He also said that Charlton deserved it and more or less that we didn’t turn up on the park so he contradicts your match analysis somewhat. Bizarrely, you’re disagreeing with the only bit of the interview he didn’t have his head in his arse for

Charlie says what a lot of people trying to run the club in recent years have said: SAFC fans should keep expectations realistic, rather than propagate a NUFC-style 'entitlement culture'. Other 'big clubs' eg Charlton are also trying to bring back the glory days.
He also said losing out on promotion is bad news but we need to turn it around quickly and make sure we are in a place to get on and do better next year.

No arguments with that either.
