Probably more - I'd say that for every fan who travelled for the check-a- trade at least another travelled for the weekend many taking families for a cheap weekend in London. Sadly many who travelled for that spent so much on that weekend that they could hardly afford another trip. My group was 50% down and I know of another 14 who went to the check-a-trade only 3 went this time due to money and people being away

Same for us 4 of us went to the Checkatrade but only 2 of us for the play off final, people simply haven’t got the money to do it, plus season card payments started again this month

I take your point mate, but the atmosphere was flat before kick off as well. It was just a strange day
Two things I think contributed to that.
1) unfortunately we now go to Wembley expecting to loose which makes people edgy before a ball is even kicked.
2) too many of our fans leave the ‘atmosphere ‘ in Trafalgar Square and are partied out by the time the game comes around.

Ha ha aye mate he'sbeen part of us for a year and he hates the fans and can't wait to stick the knife in!

But you’re more willing to go along with a non-supporter who has been here five minutes after he’s just criticised the supporters completely out of context?

Champion. This cult lark is class. I might gan along with it

We also had a weekend away trip down to Southend to fork out for. That fucker went well too!

Totally agree with both points mate. Your second, in particular, is spot on. Sadly some just want to go on the piss

and sima is what?

You know what mate, if it makes you feel better about yourself to think Im a mag and that somehow you have outed me then crack on.

Now we have crowned you Inspector Clueso

Does it change the fact our support in the semi final was 6000 less than our average attendance?
Does it change the fact our support were outsung by Charlton at Wembley?
Does it change the fact that our support get on the players backs and at times drain our own teams confidence?
Does it change the fact that we sing the same old tired shite game after game and songs fizzle out in seconds?

Charlie boy’s right, compared with previous times we are quiet.
I would suggest however 7 decades yes that’s 7, of constant failure and disappointment has something to do with this, call it a fuckin wearing down process.
Continually watching under performing and shit teams and this latest team showing little ambition on the football field in League 1. Charlie boy I would say this has something to do with it.
Just a fuckin thought.

A lot of posters are overly sensitive after Sunday tbh mate. The interview wasn’t great, but he tried to make the point that there was a lot of negativity leading up to the final and perhaps both players and fans didn’t believe they could win.
Maybe the fans don't believe because of seven trips in a row where we have lost...it's up to the manager and players to break that jinx.

You're not a mag, just a colossal arsehole!

The support was shite on Sunday, sat looked good on YouTube and the Sunday morning was fine support in the ground was shite, am not gonna spend all night arguing with my own fans but like I say I think he was right with everything he said, iv nothing against any of the board there's only two reasons we're stuck in this league again and that's the manager and the recruitment. Mainly the manager

But if he'd have started you then take him off if he's shite.
When you're unsure of fitness, to bring him on and then realise he's ineffectual is just f***ing stupid. I thought that was a really really poor decision by Jr.
Start him or don't play him.
And like you said, he didn't look anywhere near a reasonable level of fitness

Catch 22 if injured. Could start him and he hobbles off after 5 minutes s and whole game plan has gone. Think Power going off early affected us but that sort of injury is much lower risk.

Varied, had young kids and Mrs works Saturday so every game I can get to. Lot depends on in laws so can be hit and miss with Saturdays, midweeks easier. When I cant get to games I still watch them and pay for them on web.

Don't have issue with that. Just wind in calling people idiots or thick all the time because they criticise even the smallest things. It like ya trying to make up for lost time by putting other people down relentlessly.

This board puts down the fans all the time though from the non goers at the semi final to the pissed up,ones at the final

But because a director does it he's bang out of order

Some families like mine are budgeted pretty much to the penny. We plan holidays and trips away and budget for these too. I consider myself fortunate enough to have been able to afford to go to both Wembley trips this year with my wife and 2 girls but we spent over a grand which has pretty much wiped out our savings. No safety net at the moment should my increasingly unstable business mean I cannot pay myself in the weeks ahead. Me and the wife spent the night before going away going through what we could cut back on or do without so we could pay for everything we have already planned in without going into debt (and it wasn't the 4 season tickets we have already started paying for this month). To hear Charlie flippantly suggest we need to take a look at ourselves for not selling out for the second time in 8 weeks because Charlton down the road did in their first Wembley final for 21 years f***ing riles me like. I think he needs to apologise or fuck off.
