Please be true. Something like the ‘rick parkinson’ textile magnate takeover of a few years ago would cheer me right up after this weekend like.

If this is true I’ll start a campaign too get the mag Kernt Hope unbanned from the SOL

Seems both NE news channels tonight gave it the big headline then i know they would be upset if it were false.

The new woman and Greggy Steeley (or whatever) were flicking themselves off over it.......smug coonts.

It happened in the 1990’s though. If your parent isn’t a football fan why the fuck would you choose us over a top 7 club.

What about fans from Yorkshire, Northumberland or the boarders, you’re going to choose to support them over your other alternatives
You need to remember that they can’t expand their ground, so those fans will be just another set of plastic fans who never actually go to a match. All that will happen is the cost of tickets will shoot up, supply and demand, and genuine fans will be priced out of their club as they can’t expand in the way the top clubs have. If they decide to build a new stadium like Spurs have, then I’d be concerned, but that won’t happen.

Its naive.
I know, its a typo

If they’re owned by a billionaire and are selling out every week then they will buy a new ground in the future if they have to.

Also plastic fans can still attend a few times a year and even that would mean they wouldn’t be coming to watch us (which is more important).

It’s all hypothetical at the moment obviously, but Jesus Christ it isn’t good is it! We have owners who despite their good intentions are never going to be able to lift up out the leagues quickly. We’ve faltered at the first hurdle and the fanbase is inevitably falling off next season. All while those ***** could genuinely be winning the football lottery.
