Not 'Sunderland Boot Boys', detest that chant.

We haven't had a proper good chant for years, probably since Cissè. I like the simple ones, they can be very effective. Wearside, Ha'way the Lads and the ultra simple 'Sunderland' (when it's done well, it's class).

Defoes was superb. Simple, catchy and original. Got the crowd jumping (even throughout half time intervals).

Is it like this chorus?...
I'm delighted to say it is NOTHING like any part of that song...not the chorus, not one chord and not one note!

Or this chorus?...
Make it stop!

Does anyone with the tech-savvy know how to put a clip up of 'Haway The Lads' at full throttle from the 73 final....I'm sure I am the victim of some right royal Wummery here :lol:

 you'll have to record yourself singing it for us 'young-uns'!

Easy, easy, easy. Imagine going to Wembley and rolling someone over like City did in the cup final, imagine going to Wembley and not feeling that crushing pressure for 2 hours before the inevitable kick in the nuts
