Whatever has happened it would have been better if a consortium of fans had been approached to take over the club imo. Would rather the club was run by the fans for the benefit of fans. If that means we became a run of the mill Championship side then so be it. Apart from the Quinn/Phillips period and a short time with Bent/Jones the time in the PL was mainly a grind.

Let’s hope he speaks about it clearly then. Because a lot of this is down to a lack of clarity in how they have spoke about the finances in various forms over the year.
yes there is an element of that-the vast majority of business people sdont ever have to explain this stuff-and they find themselves doing it at safc...that a new experience for them-and they also have to bear in mind agreements they have with other shareholders and former shareholders as well-cant just blab peoples confidential info.

Is that James Hunter?
no its a guy who is an safc fan and a national journalist-his name is not james hunter though-

20000 fans putting in £250 would have been enough by the looks of it.

Cracking use of laughing emoji and quotation marks as a method of belittling a point that was never really made in the first place. I’m clearly engaging in conversation with a heavyweight here so Ill back off before I am truly embarrassed
I was laughing so hoyed it in?

Still waiting to comprehend the deeper meaning of Mickey Gray fronting a consortium or how I'm belittling someone with quotation marks :?:

Would you rather they done shite, blew fortunes and sold at a loss instead like?

Surely the one thing we can all agree on is that they make as big a profit as possible as it would be a reflection on how successful they/the club has been during their tenure.
Erm no, but that's not always the case, I said before it's down to short the reason why the new owners are doing ok and have been able to sell the club for a big profit should they do so

they arent selling.

its a madrox loan-not an safc one? ie madrox owe it to a bank?
You don't know tgat

we know from the published accounts its not an safc loan..and its not a secured loan to madrox. we also know the owner isnt selling.

Who are the drama queens ? Or does the name calling only work one way ?
anyone who quotes hystericaly daily mail articles that are verifiablly full of lies is being quite dramatic.

define tin pot? you mean not rich enough? based on what? and this place doesnt piss itself at ashley-it makes the point that ashley spends money-and pisses itself at the fans who say otherwise.
you took that one to heart didn't you.. they're tin pot rugby owners man, the cracks are starting to show

Regardless, the better they/the club does, the more they earn from selling it. Hope they make a 400 billion profit personally.

So they're not the loaded millionaires some on here think and are not in it for the long haul.

Nothing some of us haven't been saying for the past 12 months, Del Boy and Rodney put in £5m sell for £50m...................................

I've never thought anything other than these guys are here to make money and suspected they will be off as soon as they deem it is as profitable as they can make it.
They're not Sunderland fans. Sunderland isn't getting under their skins. They are businessmen nothing more nothing less. I'm sure they are enjoying the ride too though. They seem to be.

If they get us up and sell to a party who can invest then I'm more than happy with the arrangement.
