Yes but why desert them with so much at stake? I can understand why a lot of exiles can't make it but I know fine well Sunderland pubs will be full tonight of people just turning out to watch the match while a 20 mins walk away there's a team trying to get the club to Wembley and ultimately promotion, I can't fathom why they don't want to be there?

I can't either just sick of people knocking the fans, we've had a lot of shit to put up with these last few years.

No matter how people spin it, a large chunk of our fans have let the club down. The biggest game of the season and people have walked away.

Before people moan, yes some have genuine excuses, but 17000???!!
 
Looks like the manager, players and owners have let the fans down massively this season and are reaping the rewards. Focusing on a checkatrade final at the expense of league has backfired. All for an extra 750k.

It isn't 17,000, about 13,000 less.

We had 38K Sunderland fans at the league game, 3K Pompey. We should have about 25K there tonight, 2K Pompey.
 
I don't get why people are moaning. The game hasn't even started. Ticket office is open until kick off I believe. Does anyone know how many are sold up to now? I reckon a fair few will collect them today. Will be over 32k

Looks like 23,500 home tickets sold. Add in about 3K for corperates and Pompey. Hopefully we'll shift at least another 1K today. Ticket office opens at 10AM until kick off. Purchase history required.

Have to remember that we don't have to have a .ad dash for tickets like pompey do. I'm sure a fair few st holders will wait until the day.
