Crowd for sat

Donald wanted to, but the rules say it's not allowed.

Someone, such as yourself, knows the ticket cost is virtually irrelevant compared to the total cost of travel and accommodation for the many exiles who'll be there ... in my case the ticket cost is around 5% of the total outlay.

People can do what they want, and the sol rarely ever rocks anyway. Shit crowd doesn't help the opposition either. I'd also hope our players want to win for promotion. Not because of an extra 10k. I'd have to question them all if they didn't.

Without blowing smoke up the scousers arses again, the atmosphere they created last night played a significant part in that win.

If I hadn't got lucky and grabbed the last room at the Marsden Inn (probably the last room in Tyne and Wear at a sensible price), I'd have given this one a miss. Paying four times the usual price for a room at the Hilton Garden was, shall we say, unattractive.

Some go to a greater total of games, home and away, than SC holders who don't travel.

If they can't guarantee getting to home games a SC might end up being more expensive.
I don't go to away games but fork out for two season cards. From watching our away games on SAFSEE, I think our away crowd are far superior to our home crowd.

I take solace in the knowledge that most of my SC money goes into the SAFC coffers as opposed to away ticket money, which after our expenses, the majority of the money goes to the opposition. Does that make me a better supporter than travelling fans? The obvious answer is no, we are all part of the SAFC family irrespective of how we demonstrate it.

Hat's off to all of our supporters/fans/followers who have had to put up with more than their fair share of rubbish over the past few seasons.

In other words, you've given up on the team. Funny, but "When the going gets tough, I jacked it all in" has never caught on. Wonder why? You call yourself a fan, but you;re missing the adjective fairweather.
If I was fairweather, I wouldn't have bothered getting a season ticket for this season in the first place, and I would have probably gotten rid of said season ticket well over a decade ago. And for what it's worth, the direct debit came out for next season the other day. Lucky me. So your use of the adjective fairweather doesn't stand up to scrutiny here. Try another adjective. I mean, I can think of a few to describe you.

Im not going because i dont want to .we are absolutely filth to watch and i dont fancy wasting more money than i already have watching that shit

Hope people understand

Not at all, its a shit excuse and is the very definition as tin pot.....We take the piss out of the Smogs for being fairweather fans but feck me you are on another level.

I’m Not going I’ve bought tickets though in case shit changes, but I’m gutted my 28 years of attending games counts for nowt now like

Oh dear. I'm terrified. Pram in place x, toys in place y.

I don't understand why anyone would not want to go.

Not having a go at anyone who doesn't want to... Just don't get it myself

I don’t understand it. It’s a huge Sunderland match where the reward is potentially Wembley and promotion, why you would willingly choose to not make the effort to go just because you’re a bit fed up we didn’t finish top 2 (I understand there’ll be plenty with circumstances where they can’t make it) is beyond me in a game of this magnitude.

Some sound like many have given up already. Last nights Liverpool match showed owt is possible in football so for all we’ve been poor for a while we have just as good a chance as Pompey or any of the other sides in the playoffs of getting to Wembley and winning it.

Mags have picked up on the 20,000 who went to Wembley but have not as yet bought a ticket for Saturday........we’ll reap what we sow
Not the same people.

Said it on another thread but our hardcore now is 23-24k and it will take a lot to get that back up to where it used to be.
I'm not sure we've ever had a hard core higher than that.

Our biggest crowd this season was at home to Bradford (total basket case of a club) on the biggest drinking fixture of the season. We scraped a 1-0 with a refereeing fuck up gifting it to us. Our 2nd lowest attendance this season was Barnsley (automatic promotion team) , in a subdued midweek game in the freezing cold, and we won 4-2.
