The Grauniad reckon Rafa is close to signing a new deal.

Will be an incredible bit of business to keep him there mind.
Bit of a coup for Mr Ashley, I would imagine the Mags will be delighted that he has persuaded Rafa, not to go. No doubt they’ll all be outside branches of Sports Direct shouting their praise of him.

I didn’t ask what he’d spent I said do you think he’s bought well.
You spend a lot of time talking about Newcastle so you must have an idea.

It doesn’t matter who’s in charge you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

The mags are a mediocre premier league club with a moderate budget for the level they’re at.

10th is about as good as it will get for them.
He’s on a par with Dyche and Hughton when it comes to league positions, how come ?
Their budget was much less than your favourite club’s.

It would appear you have more knowledge than you’re letting on.

Im not piping him off I just said he’s done a good job. Pardew also done a good job which I said at the time and still maintain.
You are always piping him off or their club / fans off.
You are a tedious troll, no more no less.

He's done a good job there but I can't see which bigger, better offer he'd get to make him leave. His days at the top clubs are over.
This

The mags are too thick to see it though still think he’s a world class manager the desperate *****

Abusing a 5 year old child. You stay classy.

Better than you doing it when he was younger I suppose...

He’s doing alright, aye.

Tends to buy fairly shite players but somehow gets results playing pretty poor football. Plenty of other clubs have spent more and have less to show for it.

He’s no miracle worker as that lot would have you believe, but he’s doing a decent enough job.
Plays the sort of football that makes Fat Sam style look like Peps

In the last two seasons.

Brighton spent - £132m
Burnley spent - £64m
Newcastle spent - £78m

Brighton spent far more.

Burnley spent a little less and Dyche has also done a great job.

To only spend £78m as a newly promoted club across two seasons and have them mid table is a job well done.

I’m sure you’ll be right one day on something though. Keep plugging away.

Anyway he might have been 5 last time you bothered with him, he’ll be 10 now.

Look at Brightons team post spending then look at Newcastle.
