Smokers can live to 90.Living to 90 puts a strain on the pension and welfare system, smokers generally die earlier. This off sets any strain they put on the NHS
Most won't and if they do they'll have paid a fortune into the system through tobacco duty.Smokers can live to 90.
I love when smokers trot out the old "Well me grandad smoked all his life and he lived till he was 96"Most won't and if they do they'll have paid a fortune into the system through tobacco duty.
Blah blah blah, they're a massive drain on the NHS.Most won't and if they do they'll have paid a fortune into the system through tobacco duty.
Same as fat people? Heavy drinkers?Blah blah blah, they're a massive drain on the NHS.
This ,everyone I know who smokes has a manky set of teeth ,house stinks and are quite lazy .Smelly ignorant scruffs.
They don’t stick a shit load of money into the system. As someone already said the cost to the nhs of treating smokers gobbles it all up.If people want to do it let them, they'll invariably live shorter lives, stick a shit load of money into the system and not draw as much pension.
If we went down the road of carpet banning fags people would still smoke anyway.
There's less and less smokers so I'm assuming over time the numbers will dwindle even further
Unless we work until retirement then instantly die, we all are a strain on the public purse. I hope I'm a strain on the pension system. Smokers die earlier than non smokersBlah blah blah, they're a massive drain on the NHS.
Was having a tiddly wink last night with a relative who works in a chemist and he got on about this subject .He mentioned the amount of people who get their meds delivered to there door are all receiving treatment for smoking related disease .He estimated about 80% .They don’t stick a shit load of money into the system. As someone already said the cost to the nhs of treating smokers gobbles it all up.
That’s why the government are happy to try and get rid of it. They wouldn’t spend money on advertising how bad it is for you if it was making them money. Sad but true. Was having a tiddly wink last night with a relative who works in a chemist and he got on about this subject .He mentioned the amount of people who get their meds delivered to there door are all receiving treatment for smoking related disease .He estimated about 80% .
What about the millions of people who smoke cannabis and need tobacco to use it?
