Missiles being hoyed all game from North Stand Upper

I’ve already sent this thread to the lads in the RAWA who have direct contact with the owners. Obviously their fans have acted like twats, but it sounds like the fuzz/stewards haven’t done enough.

Its a disgrace, away fans can go on like twats if they so wish but the club has a duty to protect its own supporters and this just wasn't done today

Nothing will happen though, never does. They've also made too man cut backs on match day stuff and that evident.

My bairns 7 and she actually pointed out to me that some parents were leaving with kids to get away from it. I asked if she wanted to go but she said no so I just sat covering her head

That is f***ing mental like. Taking your kid to a football match in your own stadium and have to go through that.

Pissed off with Coventry and the club for allowing that to continue.

Loads of bottles thrown. One just missed my daughter and luckily it landed in the one empty seat in front of us. They were spitting over the top as well. Everybody around us were going crackers as it looked like very little was being done to stop them.
People with little kids were going mad with the stewards and police at the front of the North Stand. I've never seen anything as bad ever inside the SoL. They were absolute scum.

Terrible that mate. Hope it hasn’t put her off.

I’m honestly shocked at how bad their fans were today. Cowardly fuckwits and I hope they go bust.

The pathetic, middle aged bloke in the body warmer at the front of the away support - along with the sad c unt in the stone island yellow coat - mocking kids crying is a new low.

First time ever, I’m making a complaint

Precisely what I will be doing. Was my young girls first game today sat in the north stand. Doubt she’ll want to go back. Looked terrified half the game, obscene behaviour. Seen a young lad about 6-7 with his head split open, another older bloke hit by a flare and the police stood right next to us doing nothing at all about it. I’ll give it until Monday when I’ve calmed down, but complaints will be going in through the club, the fa and the fsf. Completely ruined my experience and I barely seen the game, too busy watching over my shoulder to protect my young girl.

Decided after the game to walk out via the east stand to avoid their fans outside and the inevitable trouble and got plenty of stewards trying to tell me I couldn’t walk along the front. They were promptly told where to go.

Embarrassing my our club today, couldn’t have handled that worse

Never read the thread. But RVF, his son and his daughter members of the Magic Circle of 1000 who go everywhere with SAFC. It's been a bad day today but what a joy to reconnect with these people since my dad died. Reiver as well at Blackpool. My guess is we've got another year in this division. I know it's not great but it's been a pleasure reconnecting with the most inveterate fans.

It's the clubs responsibility at the end of the day, winning and losing a game of football is pretty meaningless at the end of the day, safety if you and your family at football match should be a given.

Hope your daughters are alright.

She’s fine just looked rather intimidated during the match. Wasn’t alone in that, plenty of young ones around who weren’t happy at all. Nice first game for her, she won’t be going back for a while, doubt she’d want to. Feel completely deflated that this has happened at the game I chose as her first as well, was really hoping she’d get into the match and enjoy coming with me and my dad every week, just feel distraught that it went as it did...

It stopped eventually, so either they ran out of missiles, or something was done that worked.

But it was too late and not enough.

It's not exaggerating to say that there's risk of serious injury or death when full bottles of beer and coke can be launched to your head from 20, 30 ft up.

They were even reaching to north stand lower tier

It's disgusting.

I was once working on a construction site and someone hoyed an empty Hessian sack from some scaffolding about 15 metres in the air.

In no way did it have the momentum or weight of a bottle.

Yet it hit an unsuspecting bloke on the neck ( or head), it was 25years ago now. It knocked him unconscious and he ended up with concussion.

Some unsuspecting child could be seriously injured or even killed by a full glass bottle.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Aye, all kinds of shit lobbed down today. I'm not one to bash Coventry as I was just a nipper when the delay went down but after today I'd like to say Coventry fans are scum. Half full bottles of pop randomly thrown from above is neither funny nor clever. I hope all involved are caught by cctv and banned from all grounds for life, gormless twats.

Not surprised bud, very sad had to go through that. I am fuming the coppers have just stood there and done nothing, even when its happening where children are sitting.

Club Safety Officer needs binning big time for this.
It was obvious they were going to bring plenty of numpties up for this and after the rock throwing at their place too.

I’ve defended the new owners to the hilt, but today was a total failure by the club. The safety officer, and the staff he is responsible for, were not up to the standard people expect. When bottles and coins are raining down, and children are being hit/take away upset, they needed to take action and they did fuck all.

I’m utterly disgusted with the club tonight.
