Why aye man!
No. Ross preferes plodders in the midfield.Where will they drop points?
Three biggest chances to me are their visits to Doncaster, Plymouth and Bristol Rovers. Their home games all look eminently winnable though I think there'll be a slip in one of them somewhere.
The thing is can we take advantage? In truth, I see nothing to suggest we can. I'd expect to win more than we don't and I'd only expect 1 defeat at the most. But we coast through large parts of games, often giving ourselves about 20 minutes to win it. Barnsley are in your face all the time, we don't do that.
The draws unfortunately look set to cost us. I cannot see us winning enough to overhaul Barnsley unless they implode and that looks unlikely.
It's been a better season than I expected but I suspect we are heading for the play-offs.
I hope I'm wrong.
Spot on fella. Negativity on here is unreal.Of course we can catch them. 10 games to go for us, 9 for Luton and Barnsley. Heck, even Luton may have a stumble under the pressure and lose some games yet and get drawn back into a 3 way battle. It's all speculation and conjecture at the moment, as nobody knows how these remaining games will turn out for any of us. sure we can all make predictions, but right now it is impossible to know for sure. Maybe after the next couple of games have played out things will become a lot clearer, but at the same time, they could also get a lot murkier.
The one thing we know pretty much for certain at this point, is that Luton are all but guarenteed at least a play off place already and look pretty comfortable at the top. Barnsley are looking over their shoulders at Sunderland, but otherwise are also pretty close to securing at least a play off place, while Sunderland, unless we have a major brain fart over the next 10 games, are also looking pretty good for a play off place... But it is all still to play for and 2nd place is still achieveable for both Barnsley and Sunderland and arguably Portsmouth and Charlton too, with Doncaster, Peterborough, Blackpool and Coventry all poised for that last play off spot...
I wonder what the 'we have no chance of automatic' brigade think we should do ...
... give up, rest players and get everyone fit for the play offs?
Perhaps they think we should be doing extra penalty practice![]()
And I wonder if their view will suddenly swing 180 should Barnsley get beat and we win Saturday?
We haven't beat Walsall yet and haven't yet this season, we have to win on Saturday.
No, bookies agree too.
owt could happen

More likely to draw our game in handThis ^^^^^^^.
Win game in hand, only one point in it then. Remember, as the season comes to a close there are always weird surprising results. Lower teams beating top teams. Teams mid table, teams teams already relegated or promoted. Teams wanting to finish in a specific position in the play offs.
Cannot take easy or difficult fixtures for granted.
I'm cautiously optimistic.
So yet another must win game?A big factor could be this weekend and then the next two games they play after that while we aren't. We could be miles behind, we could still be close with three games in hand to play.
