Is there any truth in what I’ve heard that on smart motorways you get done if you are clocked at 71 mph ?
And where are these smart motorways ? Part of the m1 must be, so be careful sbc.
I was told from Leeds down to Nottingham is. I was on that stretch today and stuck to 70.
Pain in the arse.
I’m on there most days mate and can confirm I have only seen them “active” when there is a speed restriction showing on the gantry (60,50,40)
Think I'd rather keep my eyes on the road ahead. The ambulance drivers who transferred me to Bristol told me there's a trick. If you look carefully at the opposite carriageway you'll see that some gantries have a camera behind them. If there is, there'll also be one on your side of the road. Not all the gantries have them. They might have been bullshitting me, but they didn't seem the type. Problem is, the cameras aren't easy to spot at first.
It's been confirmed that the ones round the M4/M5 interchange are active all the time. Not sure about the M1.

Seems daft that as people using either or will need to be on different platforms. At league grounds such as White heart lane and Upton park the queue used to go down pretty quickly as the trains run regularly. They didn't when I saw Shields a couple of years ago, and that was a much smaller crowd. They just want to get people on a tube of any kind.

I drove back after the game in 2014.
One of the worst experiences of my life.
I reckon you could be in the next honours list if you succeed with this epic journey. Not if that person is a confident driver who loves driving and has goals and targets and achievements he wants to attain. I feel it would be a massive feather in my cap.
What if you park in Silkswoth near the Post Office for your money @KENT-FTM
The rain was that heavy that everyone was pulling into the nearest services North of LondonWhy?
It rained? We stayed over but I struggle to remember what we did after the gameThe rain was that heavy that everyone was pulling into the nearest services North of London
I do have a number to contact for Ford Emergency Assistance. It's in my glovebox in the folder thing that includes the service history. I can also call it on my SYNC 1.0 system so long as it is connected via Bluetooth to my phone which it always is.
