leaving seaham at 6 stopping for breakfast/piss stop leicester forest east then park up at stanmore already paid for parking spot

If someone buys me a top price ticket, I'll drive down for them including pick them up, and drop them off too

If the thread had simply asked about when people were thinking of leaving, maybe where to stop and past experience of how long it will take etc then fine but asking about fuel consumption and using a coach to pace your journey is beyond ridiculous. If you are an adult and have been given a license surely you can sort this bit out by simple common sense.

Down on Saturday afternoon back Monday afternoon. Park at the hotel, job done.

Got a chipped Focus ST so fuel economy is not high on the agenda

Lives at his mams. Forty odd. Iirc.

and a first aid kit, warning triangle and a hi-vis vest just in case.
tow rope.

I'm not being funny but if you're struggling to get from South Shields to the A1, are you are going to be ok driving to London? Maybe look at the trains or buses and leave the car at home.

I've been driving about 25 years and my job involves a lot of driving. Even with all that experience, I wouldn't drive to London and back in one day. I did Coventry and back in a day and found that really tiring.
9 hrs tops from Darlo, easy peasy.

I laughed at the coach company I’m using on the phone, she said promptly leaving 45minutes after full time. If it is in the coach park I was absolutely n last time it will still be exactly where it was after 45 minutes

Last time our bus was at front of queue to get out so couldve left that early. Instead we were waiting on a couple of people who didnt even go to the match who went to pub. After about 45 mins their mates said to driver to leave them. At that point we were then stuck for another 90 mins which at some point during that time the missing bods turned up.
