Can’t remember that one!
Honestly thought you were on a wind up and being a Mag. Obviously not, thanks for the comments. We are going through exactly what your club had to. We'll be back......someday.I am trying to recall those 1-0 wins. Once Daren bent scored with a header at the same end as the one posted on here. In another one I think Adam Johnson (can I say his name?) scored with a curling shot at the old away end. Think the first game at the sol was 3-1? You were at your best with Quinn, Philips and summerbee at the time.
I remember after one of those games telling my dad that we had made a mistake buying David Silva and he was too lightweight for the premier league. Shows what I know.
Sport and Leisure management.
He came for a couple of lectures, but joined in with all activities. One lecture was by a referee, whose name has left me, but he reffed Man Utd v Everton in the fa cup final and sent off Kevin Moran

Was a great time. On a grant, plenty of disposable income BUT the bars closed at 2pm

Was a difficult time until they opened back up. Usually went back and did some studyingThat's outrageous!! Students need bars at all hours.
Was. Iirc he was about to head it in, but Richards impeded himWas it not a penalty?
bloody hell - had me nearly in tears.
You are some club.
I was at Maine road when you brought 15,000 with Garry Bennett playing and you got relegated. Then came up there for the first game at the sol.
Then about 4 times when you seemed to always win1-0 in the last minute.
Then of course in London when you were great in the league cup final.
I genuinely think your support is as good as any in the country and I can’t wait to see you get back.
I was impressed by Coleman to be honest In the programme and wondered why he didn’t stay and finish the job of bringing you back. Also is that chief executive still with you? He seemed passionate enough but a bit clueless?
Anyway wishing you all the best and hope you get back up automatically and apologies for rodwell!!!
Without a doubt my second club and a genuinely held belief shared by a huge majority on our forum blue moon that you are a fantastic bunch and a great club.
All the best
Was it not a penalty?
I enjoy City getting up all the noses of the entitled tosspots at the top who roll out the money crack, of course no other team has spent hundreds of millions to sustain themselves at the top
Yes it was actually.
I also remember a long time ago buying Craig Russell from you. He was a real Sunderland fan. Never seemed to settle at ours.
Think I'm right in thinking it was a straight swap for Nicky Summerbee.
Right I’ve been niceYes - think you got the better deal.
Right I’ve been nice
I’m still annoyed at a foul in the build up to Yayas equaliser at Wembley
