You said they never dropped despite relegation, they did massively.
Newcastle fans are no different to any other set of fans despite what the media tell us.

They dropped for one season, ten years ago. You’re right about that.
One season at 43k during Ashley’s reign could have been so much worse attendance wise. Maybe the media are right on this one ;)

The average gate in the 09/10 championship season of 43k was 5k lower than the previous season average of 48k. Which itself was 3k lower than the one before that.

36k vs reading was the lowest gate of the season. Usually about 44k for weekend matches, 38/39k for midweek games. By March and April when promotion as champions was nailed on, they were pushing up to high 40s.

But but 52k every game, thoosands locked oot, famous numba's, etc, etc...
Mostly from the media but plenty of your fans believe this bullshit hence your "Crowds never dropped despite relegation" remark.

So crowds dropped then.

I never mentioned 52k, people locked out or famous numbers ?
I acknowledge crowds dropped for one season. But in the main have stated very high, as I believe they will continue to.

That's not what you said.
You stated " Crowds never dropped despite relegation " when clearly they did.

I wouldn't mention the 5th place finish, you'd just claim it was lucky again.
Pardew 5th place = lucky
Rafa 10th place = miracle

Everybody knows that anyway

Except some of your little pals on here it seems ....

In an interview last week with a good friend of mine off sky sports, Rafa said off the record that he is leaving at the end of the sesaon.

I posted that months ago along with a few other things that were proved correct.

Ok , we will see in May.
I couldn't give a toss what he does in May but Sky Sports are more than happy to scour the internet and repeat or embellish any bullshit rumour they hear of under the guise of 'Sky sources tell us' or 'Sky Sports News understands'. So I don't believe for one second that those intentions Rafa told a Sky employee about, on or off the record/cd/cassette tape or even 8 track, wouldn't be 'exclusive' news on a yellow bar across the bottom of the screen before you could say net spend.

Probably that as well.

He did finish 5th and never really had yous in relegation bother.

Suppose season finished 16th sailed close to wind but don’t recall you spending much time if any in bottom 3.

Apart from the very next season where we were largely aided by a Jose Bosingwa brain-melt.

Unless they were lining him up to be one of their pundits next year.

Yous finished 5 points above drop zone abc had a good little run to 1/4s of uefa Cup.

No matter how much you dress it up or attempt to downplay it Rafa won’t have had the relative success that Pardew had.

Nor will he ever have the quality of players Pardew had.

That’s like me saying Jack Ross will never emulate Steve Bruce. We both know there are variables.

Who are my little pals ??

It’s what he normally does when he’s struggling. He hates Newcastle fans sharing the same opinion (even though it’s normally not usually the case) as it ruins his attempt at a divide and conquer borefest.

Ironically he can’t stand on his own two feet without his little bunch of diddleywhacks. Typical doorman behaviour, bullying soft targets (mags in this instance) when in numbers but feeble on his tod. It’s classic envy.

Sorry, I didn't think I'd have to spell it out.

It was a jokey reference to other Mags on here.

You said 'everybody knows that anyway.'

My point was that, as some Mags regularly disagree, you must be wrong.

Anyway, Sima's post man

Employing doorman tactics, going after soft targets, etc ....

... ffs talk about taking a chat forum WAY too seriously

why do the media obsess over the mags crowds? you never hear them mention the 67k at arsenal or the 70k at old trafford...very strange

Hardly ever posts on here, mods begged him not to close his account, etc, etc, etc.

A slimey lowlife coward.

I’d imagine it’s because the teams you mention are two of the must successful whilst we are one of the least successful.
