:lol: Im more worried about have a few drinks somewhere and falling in on the way back! I think i'd manage for a couple of days with her, wouldnt be able to do a full week mind

My mam and dad have done it before like, they said you can't get pissed and drive the boat. Or at least you shouldn't.

When I went to Kiev I stayed in a hotel round the corner from that millionaire ghost town Vozdvyzhenka with all the mutil-coloured mansions that nobody lives in.

I'm at an age where I just don't see the point of paying top dollar for any hotel or flat. Just need a good location and clean. I'm there to sleep and get changed, nothing else. Rather spend the money while out and about.

I've stayed in far worse places than that anarl. :lol:

If I had the cash I'd stay here.

Aye but come on if you're going somewhere dirt cheap you can get somewhere actually quite nice for about £50.

Are you going there alone or with a SO?

It's part of a two week trip around. We travel quite a lot so do spend much on digs, brings no benefit. Don't have an income to be dropping 50 a night when away, mostly due to going away a bit too often in fairness.

I used to work with a lass who would be away every other week and she chose where she’s go based on how cheap it was.

Getting up in the middle of the night to get the coach to the airport for her £12 flight and that. Didn’t see the appeal, just go go away less often and have a nicer time.

She seemed to be obsessed with visiting as many obscure countries as possible while spending as little money as possible. It was all about “ticking off” places. Perhaps she had a terminal illness?

Kept telling me I should get off the beaten track and go to Albania or Macedonia for my holidays and that. No thanks.
