If that's the case he should have signed at least 5 good players by now...

Can you name them?
He should have signed 5 players fit for purposes given the constraints he works under. And he has;
Dubravka,
Fernandez
Lejeune
Schar
Ki
Ritchie
Gayle

So why do you complain about the spending then?
Because while the rest of the league was spending untold fortunes on their first choice targets, Newcastle United was scraping the bottom of the bargain bucket. Again. Despite promises that Benitez could spend "every penny generated by the club". Which even if you assume is just the pennies generated from player sales and prize money, is significantly more than Benitez has been allowed to spend. And when it is revealed by the Deloitte league thing that it's not like we're struggling financially it begs the question, where's the money going? Not on the pitch, not on the training ground, not on the academy, not on the stadium, not on the fans by way of cheaper tickets, so where's it gone?

You've just spent 20m man, not Ashley's fault in your words for every one good player he signed a duff one.

Those crap ones hes signed still need paid, do you never think that's where the money has gone or do you only look at transfer fees as it suits your agenda?

The thing is the names on that list absolutely prove you can get decent players without spending millions. Which comes back to the fact that’s just what a lot of them want, to spend millions on a single player.

Since Benitez as been at Newcastle

Bournmouth - £120m spent
Brighton - £137m
Burnley - £105m
Cardiff - £54m
Palace - £130m
Fulham - £117m
Huddersfield - £92m
Southampton - £152m
Watford - £126m
Newcastle - £133m

Hardly untold fortunes.

Currently? Or are you basing this on our accounts for season 2016/17?

What are the "current" figures? Consider though that you made an operating loss of over 90m that year, you'd need to make a hefty profit in this next year to break even over the two years.
