He very may well be a flop when he plays in England, but it's surely worth the risk instead of signing some bog standard midfielder from Watford or Boro who's been passed around from club to club over here for massively inflated fees.

This. He'll struggle to adapt to the league and culture. The Mags will be loaning him out next season for a season long loan to a club in Spain or Italy. Just watch.
 
Almiron old team mate Josef Martinez is like Messi in the MLS 50 goals in 53 games for Atlanta :lol: compare that to his grand total of 19 goals in 113 games at Young Boys, Thun and Torino

Why are people desperate to make the MLS sound like a good league ? Its a joke

Things like that tend to happen when you go from playing as a sub on the wing in Serie A to playing 90 as a CF on a strong, attack-minded team in a much weaker league.

100% because up to now Ashley has always paid full amount up front for incoming transfers, proves the club will be sold in the summer, haway the Arabs!
