Tata Martino had Atlanta playing some superb football, no matter what the standard they were fantastic to watch when on song and Almiron was a vital cog in that.

I just don't understand why posters are comparing an out an out number 10 to a striker when mentioning his goal scoring records?

He very may well be a flop when he plays in England, but it's surely worth the risk instead of signing some bog standard midfielder from Watford or Boro who's been passed around from club to club over here for massively inflated fees.
Keep your knickers on your a fan of the joke league that is the MLS we get it

I think he will be a major flop, bradley weight-Phillips is like Sergio Aguero in that league. The standard is awful and the style wholly different.

This. He'll struggle to adapt to the league and culture. The Mags will be loaning him out next season for a season long loan to a club in Spain or Italy. Just watch.

Almiron old team mate Josef Martinez is like Messi in the MLS 50 goals in 53 games for Atlanta  compare that to his grand total of 19 goals in 113 games at Young Boys, Thun and Torino

Why are people desperate to make the MLS sound like a good league ? Its a joke

Riveros 2, but not as much international experience

Things like that tend to happen when you go from playing as a sub on the wing in Serie A to playing 90 as a CF on a strong, attack-minded team in a much weaker league.

CBA to look, but i'm sure I read on here last night that they borrowed the money off Barclay's to fund this transfer, so Mikey still hasn't pulled out for it, is that so the payments become the responsibility of the ( possible) new owners?
100% because up to now Ashley has always paid full amount up front for incoming transfers, proves the club will be sold in the summer, haway the Arabs!

So do you think the country he was playing in USA, has any idea who your new signing is?

Are you starting to see how once again My Cashley hasn't pulled any money out.clever man
see post 83, slugster reckons previously Cashley has paid the lot up front for transfers, clever shite
