Big statement to say he is the most sensible we have ever had !Nope, just getting the info from Twitter. Think we will find out on Saturday when he's on the podcast, fingers crossed it's the 1.5m that was initially published, rising to 3m or so if we get to championship, 4m for premier league. I'd be very happy with that.
Either way what does it matter to us, Stewart is as sensible as we've ever had with finances and he's signed it off so must be covered.
the moon on a stick it seemsSame cheery chappies on here kicking off about not spending our way out of League 1 are now saying we overspent on Grigg. What do you want???
Some of the lyrics carry a certain, shall we say, resonance....Class song that
Aye, if we're in the Premier League. I'll take that.So it does rise to £4 mill then.
Agreed. Looking like a very sensible 'tiered' deal which minimises initial outlay (as best you can when your top scorer fucks off with one weeks notice in a January transfer window) whilst kicking down the path future payments to a point when income will increase and would invariably mean the lad had bagged a few goals. It's better to overspend and not derail the season than to not overpay and watch the season collapse.
Well done to Donald for spending more than Griggs value when he could have easily refused .

I'm confident now we will have too much for the other side's Luton aside.
the blokes signed, why is this place arguing amongst themselves, the most important thing is he signed
The mind boggles - I wasn’t keen on some of the figures being mentioned but not worrying about it now. We needed a forward and we should be getting one

Yep. Owner has put his hands into the coffers when we needed it. Total opposite of last January’s pathetic deadline day striker scramble. Nowt to complain about especially when the fee is undisclosed anyway. Childish whining is a sport in itself for some of our fans.
