If we have gone back in for him, I suspect we have agreed to pay Wigan’s asking price. It may be somewhat desperate, but I suspect we have already agreed terms etc with his agent.

If it falls through now, we won’t sign anyone.

the asking price has probably gone up a good few hundred thousand over the last few hours

Surely they'll have to get a replacement in in 50 mins though. Would go down awful with their fans if they sold him last minute & ended up going down.

If we were Wigan & we sold him now I'd be canny pissed off.
 
For what it's worth the lad at work is friends with Dan Burn who is best mates with Grigg. He said Grigg is settled in that area and has a young kid.

Also a nice guy by all accounts.
 
Think we should have just paid up and signed the player. Decisions like this explain why Eastleigh failed in their promotion challenge. What is the point of having huge support if it can't even produce money to buy a reasonable striker?
