If we are still bidding, then surely he has done the medical, and sorted personal terms etc, so it's just a fee to sort? If this is the case, surely Wigan will honour a good servant to them, IF he wants to go, and has agreed terms, and we are bidding more than what they wanted?

If we have gone back in for him, I suspect we have agreed to pay Wigan’s asking price. It may be somewhat desperate, but I suspect we have already agreed terms etc with his agent.
