yeah thats right..but he is a prospect...younger than nelson..who isnt a prospect...nelson need to be in our around the first te\m of sunerland to be kept on..
I agree he is a prospect but we need players who can do a job now and I believe Nelson could have done a job now , not as first choice but would be very effective off the bench and he would have been more effective than Sinclair for example .

Be class if we don't bring a striker in, and this lad bangs the goals in in the spl.
He will score goals, no doubt .

maybe he would have done a better job than sinclair..but we arent keeping sinclair..the quesrion is what are you nbasing it on re nelson? i mean embleton seems to be playing in the sinclair role at grimsby, and while grimsby is a lwoer level, its reasonable to think he could do better than sinclair based on his performance..but why could nelson? why is neson better than embleton?

I never said Nelson was better than Embleton !, I said he was a better striker than him because Embleton is not a striker. It's all my own opinions based on the fact I have seen them both play many many times including going up to watch Andy play in Scotland and for Darlington if you don't agree that's ok ,! As I said my opinion

embleton is a league two striker today..thats a higehr level than nelson has ever achoeve...you havemt seen him play more often than safc coaxches and management have..

he plays as a wideman in a front three for grimsby..

Aye? And how many grimsby games have you watched this season because a quick google search suggests you're wrong.

He appears to be playing as a winger/wingback in a 3-5-2.

EDIT: Going further back into the season he's playing as a winger in a 4-4-2 also. Literally can't find a game where he's in a front 2 or 3

Also just to make sure we put the conversation to bed. On Grimbsy Town FC website he's listed as a midfielder and in the loan extension post here is some quotes.

"Grimsby Town Football Club are delighted to announce that midfielder, Elliot Embleton has extended his loan spell with the club until the end of the season."

"Making his debut for the club in September 2018, Embleton has played a pivotal part in the club's upturn in fortune, making 19 appearances, scoring on 4 occasions so far and impressing with a number of eye-catching performances in midfield."
