You cannot say such things on here any more; the faux outrage brigade will be, er outraged!

Oh for the simple days of Koller, Simeone (?), garn fuck yersel and pissflaps!
Comes into training, clears his belongings and says he's never playing for the club again while a fee hasn't even been agreed. The snowflakes on here can suck me nads. I hope his career nosedives and he's never heard of again.

All of the people on here saying they hope he rots, you do realise we have a sizeable sell on percentage and stand to make more money after various goal and appearance targets are hit.

Personally I hope he does really well and gets sold to psg for £100m
Didn't see this through my bitterness tbf. Viva Maja! I hope your time in the south of France is fruitful.

The only thing that is upsetting is the way he messed the club around saying he wanted to stay and the next day his agent had told him not to sign. If he had been upfront from the start he would have gone with my blessing but his subsequent actions leave me with a nasty taste.

We haven't heard Joshes side of the story tbf

If their gaffa is saying he's not ready to start why would they pay us 3.5 mill to take him now when they can sign him on a pre contract now for the summer?

His agent had probably spinned some story of offers imminent from other clubs around Europe and that £3.5 million is tiny to what they could get for him in a few seasons and they've taken the bait.

Could work too, if they can get the manager to play him....which he doesn't look like doing anytime soon by his comments.

Where does this never playing for the club again come from? I've seen others mention it as well.

Aye maybe. They could still tie him down though so I was thinking they must be wanting to bring him in to play now. Obviously not. Guessing they're run by a Director of football and the manager is just a head coach.

Donald said on total sport he'd played his last game for Sunderland. The deal will be really close or he wouldn't have said it anarl.

good luck to the lad, takes some balls to up and off to France at that age. It's no use bleating and moaning it's just a symptom of how far we've fallen, it's not long since we waltzed into Bordeaux and took their best player. Just another of the hundreds I've seen in red and white but he's done much better than most of them.
Shekels marra shekels

Maja is going to flop at his next club. There's going to be huge expectation on him and I don't think he will be able to handle it. He's been flavour of the month at SAFC after some important goals that he's scored by hanging around in front of goal. If he's not the only real striker at his new club he's going to burn not very brightly.

He's cocked up, in my senile opinion.

Not able to handle the pressure? He's been in a pressure cooker these last 18 months. And coolness in front of goal is his thing! He has some tap or head-ins. But he's had work to do for most of his goals.
Besides, hanging around in front of goal and scoring is pretty much a striker's job description.

I think it's a good move for him (not for us) - the French leagues will play more to his technical ability.

Ok, some people are just giving the impression, that Maja has expressed he will never play again. To me, that is not the same as Donald saying a deal is so close, it will be struck before the next game

He hasn't gone for money like, its a big club and a great opportunity to be playing top flight football for a team fighting for europe.

Sure he could have got a gig at a premier league side as a squad player if he wanted money.

Possibly. Time will tell with these things as always.

Just guessing by what their manager has said mate, I don't think Maja has been his choice which could prove difficult for him as when you are scoring like he has been, the last thing he will need is to stop playing and his confidence shot...from hero to zero.

Aye but Donald wouldn't have said that unless the deal was close or else he'd look silly if the move didn't go through and Maja is here for next 6 month doing nothing

But they can offer him a contract now and get him signed up now like Rangers have done with that Jones & like what Juventus will do with Ramsey

any foreign side can sign him now though.

Pre contract. Maybe they just want him in so they can’t get jumped at the 11th hour.

I don’t know mate. I’m hypothesising.

Nick Barnes twitted what had happened on Wednesday night mate......Maja cleared his locker and then informed the club he would not be coming back and off he popped.

Bordeaux manager Eric Bedouet hints Josh Maja may not be ready for first team football
Maja's £3.5million move from Sunderland to Bordeaux is expected to be confirmed today after he completed his medical on Thursday

Oh dear josh, possible two medals here or a goosed up move to France, agent screwing him over here like
