Doesn't make the list of 20 young players in League one and Championship to look out for, possibly because he's on the way out

That's a joke like, not having the leading striker in minutes per goal in league football on that list, if he isn't atm its only Gayle and Abraham that are close to his figures

Sounds like his new manager hasn’t got a clue about him. This move just gets more and more bizarre from his point of view.

I’d be surprised if he’s not regretting this move by the end of the season.
He will be. His agent has blinded him with ‘make this move now and you and your family set for life’

The only thing that is upsetting is the way he messed the club around saying he wanted to stay and the next day his agent had told him not to sign. If he had been upfront from the start he would have gone with my blessing but his subsequent actions leave me with a nasty taste.

Financially it will be a good deal for him but even better for his agent.

Going off the Bordeaux gaffers comments so far he is going there to be back up at best. He knows nowt about him. I’m sure he has the ability to make an impression though, his finishing is so good it will be noticed straight off.

Hopefully for his career and our sell on clause he is rough diamond for them and he shocks them all then gets a big move.

I think people forget a couple of things

1) we are in league 1
2) we aren’t in a position to offer big wages
3) the club has been a complete disaster for all of his time here
4) he has earned a relative pittance thus far in what is a short career

He’s being offered more money (presumably) to play for a top division club that may get European football

He may struggle for games initially but I struggle to see how anyone can criticise him for

1) wanting to earn more money. This isn’t an already stinking rich Gyan going to UAE
2) having some ambition

Could it have been handled better? Yeah. But it’s hardly unique. And he has played and scored whilst he has been here

I wish him well, he seems a decent lad
Fuck all of that. He's a **** for ever wanting to leave. I hope he rots in their reserves or rots on their bench or rots in hell or somewhere. Has he gone yet? Watch your arse on the way out wanker iirc

if not already, reading that.

People are so bitter and are whining like little bairns. It's embarrassing.
Happens all the time on here man.

Player plays well, everyone loves him, believes it when he comes out and says he loves being here. Because said player is playing well he gets an opportunity to further his career and significantly improve his bank balance, people cry because they think SAFC is the only place on earth someone can possibly want to play football.

good luck to the lad, takes some balls to up and off to France at that age. It's no use bleating and moaning it's just a symptom of how far we've fallen, it's not long since we waltzed into Bordeaux and took their best player. Just another of the hundreds I've seen in red and white but he's done much better than most of them.

All of the people on here saying they hope he rots, you do realise we have a sizeable sell on percentage and stand to make more money after various goal and appearance targets are hit.

Personally I hope he does really well and gets sold to psg for £100m

Aye......am sure the £1m a year will sooth his Baaaalls

If their gaffa is saying he's not ready to start why would they pay us 3.5 mill to take him now when they can sign him on a pre contract now for the summer?

It's a risk for JM at this time of his career.

It's simply a payday for his Agent

If it goes tits up JM should sue his agent in a PPI type of way

He'd get a bigger pay day when Josh's contract runs out. Too much is being made about his agent here.
