I think that's probably the last we'll hear of him until he crashes and burns and comes back to join Scunthorpe in 2 years time

In my opinion I think he would’ve been better signing a new deal with us with the get out clause if we don’t go up.

I understand why anyone would leave a job for more money, but I think it would’ve been better for him to play regular games with us.

Either way it was ultimately his choice like.

Surely he should just not sign the contract then. Assess situation in the summer ?

Doubt it, he will be in the reserves, money talks, and of course where he is going is nicer than Sunderland.
I think he has made a mistake, he should stay and get regular games, prob his agent has influenced him to go.

Who’s to say he won’t play regular games in France?
It’s a step up in money but also standard of play and club.
If have any ambition you have to back yourself to make that step up.
 
Developing and flogging players will be our modus operandi......not doing it is why we ended up in league wan...

Succession planning is what we need to get right, whee's the next one.....
