Schwartzer reckons it's strange the club is letting it happen & must need the money. Said club should have kept him & help club get promoted. Reckons the club should have left it till the summer & then made a decision.

Phillips says he should continue playing at Sunderland but his agent is obviously in his ear. Get into the championship and then go from there. Can't afford to lose your goal scorer going promotion

Shreeves reckons it's a big kick in teeth & it's bizzare to let him go as the numbers don't add up. Only getting 3.5 mill & promotion is worth more.
 
Schwartzer reitering that it doesn't make any sense unless club need to sell him for money. Other boys agreeing.

Love KP like. Should come home on coaching staff, play on the feelgood.

Nah they said they were guessing. All said must have agent in ear telling him to chase money in France but then Schwartzer reckoned club shouldn't have had it get to this point.

Phillips said it's best place to play but also the worst place. Playing infront of 47,000 on Boxing Day better than bordeaux.

Yeah. I know we have new owners, but when you look at our track record for player retention/happiness it's not great.

We offered what he asked for - he said he was going to sign then reneged. Can't see what the club could have done other than increase the offer and look like a soft touch and risk having the piss taken in future contract and transfer negotiations.

Anar schwartzer reckons it should have been left till the summer then assessed then. Shreevsy piped in talking about how much more promotion is worth compared to the 3.5 mill to back him up then they kind of moved into a guessing game.

It is strange when Ethan robson got a new deal last year under Coleman. Think he was up in summer 2018 so they gave him a 2 year but ignored Maja & Asoro as they were 2019.
